Aim of Unit 10 is Work Based Experience
Unit 10 Work-Based Experience mainly aims to provide learners the practical activities of a workplace environment. The activities will enable development of planning and bring basic benefits to the learner. The learners will be able to acquire knowledge about the activities pursued in the workplace with the help of supervisors. Learner will perform activities that will help them to perform activities required for this unit. As a result, they can develop a scope for what they have achieved by carrying out what is achieved by them by recording evidence from what is achieved by them. Benefit can be gained by reflection and review of the work undertaken by them.

Learning outcomes
LO1 Be able to negotiate industry experience
An appropriate organization based on a specific location has to be chosen. Unusual departments within business of employers and existing work environment will lead to industry related work at for clients at the workplace. Different methods of negotiations by contacting organizations should be made and the role of supervisor is extremely important in supervising the work of the students. Problem solving skills and teamwork could be developed through mutual consultation and free communication. Possible limitations like customer satisfaction cost of materials, limited staffing and health considerations any arise from time to time.
LO2 Understand the specific requirement of placement
The facts of the actions based on hourly, daily basis should be negotiated. The need to priorities work and plan for work experience by developing a method of the plan has to be created.The advantages for benefit to the organization allowing procedures and increased responsiveness should be developed. Identifying operation of businesses, problem solving skills and learning new techniques could be developed through performance of tasks.
LO3 Be able to undertake work experience as identified
The activities should exist to accordingly carry out relevant legislation and developing new procedures as well as protocol. Activities should be recorded in a systematic way by use of logbook, spreadsheets and databases. Proper methods should be used for reviewing the activities to check they meet the requirements as and when required. The list of resources are identified in and corrected appropriately.
LO4 Be able to monitor own performance and learning
Proper evaluation has to be made with regard to the quality so that it meets the industry standards. The information of practices gained while making new procedures, developing time management skills and details of the evidence through scientific report and management report should be developed. Recommendations should be made on how the learning experience could be developed such as different location, time management, better preparation and different time periods.
